Building Block
I: Let’s Get Started
Learn the basics of acting like stage directions,
creating a character, working with a scene partner, and more in
this fun and engaging class. Building fundamentals is the key to
success for any actor—and going back to basics is essential for
continuing to grow as a performer. A monologue and scene
showcase at the end of the class will mark progress for each of
the students and encourage them to work harder and smarter to
learn the essentials.

III:
Playing Well with Others
You can act on your own, you can act with a partner, but
can you act with a cast? Ensemble building is essential to
creating a strong production. Work with a large group to perfect
sharing the stage and creating the most believable scenes
through large scene studies, group exercises, and continued
individual development to add to the group dynamic.
