Student of the Month - Elise Wang |
|
 Elise Wang is 9 years old and a 3rd grader at Brook School Elementary in Fishers. She started taking dance class at The Artists' Studio in January in the Musical Theatre Dance Styles class. "I love to dance and The Artists' Studio is so awesome!" Her teacher, Gabrielle, has been such a positive role model and teacher. At school Elise has enjoyed participating in Spanish and Art Club and is now active in Student Council and Girl Scouts. She loves all types of music and has been playing the piano for almost 3 years. Elise performed in the Brook School Talent Show in March dancing to "Nicest Kids in Town" from Hairspray. She is so excited to take more classes here and to be enrolled in a Summer Camp at The Artists' Studio in July.

We are excited to be offering a full line up of camps this summer almost doubling the number of camps from previous years AND with the departure of the Montessori School we have expanded space in which to hold these camps. Don't miss out on this exciting new Summer Camp Production!! This is the first time that songs from Wicked will be choreographed and performed on stage at The Artists' Studio. Learn what happened before Dorothy dropped in with great music and a wonderful story.
Campers will bring a lunch and have recreational time every day. Come ready to perform!

Sweeney Anyone???? |
What if? Would you? could you? No its not Dr. Seuss but a serious consideration by the staff here at TAS to do a production of Sweeney Todd, School Addition as a summer camp this summer. Music Theatre International has just released the rights for productions starting in June and we're excited about providing this opportunity for our student actors. With such great roles as Sweeney, Mrs Lovett, Joanna, Toby and great singing by a strong chorus and incredible songs we think this is something that could be a first for TAS and all of Indianapolis for that matter. We want to know what you think?!?, Oh the thinks you can think! (sorry!) Email us and tell us if its something you'd want to be in? Parent too; give us your feedback!

CUSTODIAN NEEDED |
We are looking for a part time custodian to clean the theatre. Job requires about 10 hours per week (mostly on the weekends). Perfect for a variety of people who are looking to supplement their income. No heavy lifting or hard cleaning required. Mostly mopping the floor, cleaning the bathrooms, taking out the trash and a little dusting.
