Summer Camp

A camp specifically designed to prepare to audition for your favorite shows! Similar to Broadway Saturdays, campers will be coached through a song and a monologue which can be used at auditions. In the final performance the actors will perform those selections along with a musical theatre ensemble piece and a scene from a Broadway play. Students will leave this camp ready to audition with a polished resume, a program biography and a headshot.

June 9-13 Location: Theatre Time: 9 am—3 pm

July 21-25 Location: Rehearsal Studio Time: 9 am—3 pm

4 In-depth Training

This four-day camp will give the serious actor a more focused training on the three disciplines in theatre – singing, dancing, acting. The first three days of the camp will be devoted to one discipline so that the young performer can hone their strengths and bolster their weaknesses. Have you been wanting to get that certain role but it always seems just out of reach? Enhance your chances with this camp. The final day of the camp will bring together all the work to culminate in a performance Thursday, July 3 at 7:00pm on the TAS main stage. Video cameras are a must!

Encore Production IV – Hairspray/Legally Blonde

This two-week camp will weave an original story on main stage using the fabulous songs from Hairspray and Legally Blonde. Who doesn’t know the wonderful songs? Imagine singing Good Morning Baltimore, You Can’t Stop the Beat, Bend and Snap. This musical theatre production camp will have the campers rehearsing, learning and performing an original story using the songs of Hairspray and Legally Blonde. The show will be cast on the first day. Come ready to perform! Campers will bring a lunch and have recreational time every day. The final performances for this camp are Friday August 1 @ 7pm, Saturday August 2 @ 7pm, Sunday August 3 @ 5pm on the TAS Main Stage. REGISTER EARLY FOR THIS ONE.

Encore Tech IV – Hairspray/Legally Blonde

A camp running simultaneously with Encore Production Camps. Who can act without lights, sets, costumes and all the people running the show? Here techies shine behind the scenes – creating a costume, building a set piece, designing and running lights, sound and other technical aspects for the Encore productions.

July 28-Aug. 1 Location: Theatre Time: 9 am—3 pm

Performances: Fri, Aug. 1 @ 7 pm, Sat. Aug. 2 @ 7 pm & Sun, Aug. 3 @ 5 pm.

Cost: $150/week

Dramatic Fun Hour by Hour

(Open to Ages 5-16)

Designed for the parent who wants to have something interesting for their child to do after camp. For the diverse child who is interested in every thing from improvisation to singing and dancing to crafts. There is no final performance and pick up times are flexible.
