Musical Theatre Dance

This class focuses on learning basic dance styles and concepts. Students will learn simple dance combinations while gaining an appreciation for dance fundamentals such as technique, balance, coordination, body placement, and terminology. This class is designed for students who have very little dance training. Dance shoes are required. No sneakers or bare feet. (Jazz shoes, ballet slippers, paws, or modern shoes are acceptable)
Tuesdays 4:30pm-5:30pm. Starts March 15
Ages: 8-12

Tapping Tappers

This class focuses on learning the basic fundamentals of tap. The class starts with barrè work that places emphasis on correct body placement, technique, balance, coordination, how to shift weight from both legs to one leg, and proper terminology. Students will learn how to count music and be able to identify different rhythms. This class is suited for students who come from divers and non-dance backgrounds. Tap shoes are required.

Thursdays 5:00pm-5:45pm.Starts, March 17
Ages: 8-12

High School Musical Theater

In this class, students will learn a wide variety of dance styles. Each class will begin with proper stretching and warm up. Students will gain a better understanding of body placement, coordination, technique, and terminology. Dance combinations from today’s favorite musical numbers will be covered with upbeat and exciting music. This class is perfect for students who have a basic understanding of dance. Dance shoes are required. No sneakers or bare feet. (Jazz shoes, ballet slippers, paws, or modern shoes are acceptable)

Ages:13-17
